Being 12 Again
This weekend I got the opportunity to go on a trip to an amusement park. The youth of my church went on a trip to Frontier City, and as a leader, I was able to attend.
A. I love amusement parks.
B. I REALLY love roller coasters.
C. I also love pretending to be younger than I am.
Partly from the request of the kids that were riding rides with me and partly from nostalgia, we rode what Frontier City calls “The Tornado”. When I was growing up, it was called the Tilt-A-Whirl. It was my favorite ride growing up. Spinning is fun. Hannah, John and myself had a blast, as seen below. Thanks Stephen for the photo.
I was really exhausted after a full day of going really fast, throwing my arms in the air, screaming, going upside down, waiting and walking ALOT. Being 12 again was fun, but I am definitely fine with being 26. Watching TV and sitting at my desk isn’t all bad. ;)
